Dirty Dancing

Conrad commenced working on Dirty Dancing in Australia as Musical Director in June 2004 and he has since been engaged to work as Music Supervisor for all international productions including Hamburg (2006-2008), London (2006-2011), Toronto (2007-2008), Utrecht (2008-2009), USA tour (Chicago/Boston/Los Angeles 2008-2009) and Berlin (2009-2010). In addition to this UK tour, he will this year musically supervise new productions in Oberhausen (Germany) and Stockholm. He has also produced the original cast albums for productions of Dirty Dancing in Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom and North America.

Previous credits as musical director or supervisor include: The Full Monty (2003) (Australia); Singin' in the Rain (2001 Australia and South East Asia); The Man from Snowy River (2001/2002 Australia); Jolson (1999/2000 Australia); Me and My Girl (1994-1996 Australia and New Zealand); The New Rocky Horror Show (1992 Australia and South East Asia); Blues in the Night (1991 Australia); Nine (1987-1988 Australia); Me and My Girl (1986 Australia); Songbook (1984 Australia) and As You Like It (Melbourne Theatre Company 1984).

His production of the Australian cast albums for Nine (1989) and The Man from Snowy River (2003) both received ARIA awards as best cast albums. In 2006 he supervised the musical creation of the Australian Outback Spectacular for Warner Bros. in Queensland, Australia and this production is continuing.
